Learn from Nature — You Are Enough — Peace Is Inside You
One of the quiet joys of living in England is how close nature always feels. Whether it’s a forest, a lake, or a peaceful pond, it’s often just around the corner. For me, South Lake in Woodley is a daily companion, a calming escape as I pass on my way to the leisure centre.
Today felt especially heartwarming. I watched a mother duck lead her tiny ducklings in perfect formation, gently guiding and protecting them. Nearby, a graceful Heron stood still beside the pond, surrounded by blooming lotus flowers. The water was clear, the breeze soft, it felt as though time itself had slowed down.
In nature, everything happens with such ease. Trees grow, birds sing, flowers bloom effortlessly. Nothing is rushed, nothing forced. That is why peace lives in nature because it flows in harmony, not in hurry.
In our fast-paced, distracted world, we are always chasing something — success, happiness, peace. Our mind tricks us into believing that it lies somewhere far ahead. It works on a principle that simplicity is for the naive and complexity is a badge of honour.
But nature whispers a different truth: Everything you are looking for — calm, clarity, peace, happiness — is already within us. We just overlook it. We are just too distracted to notice and rarely pay the visit.
Step away from that noise. Learn from nature.
Take a moment. Step outside. Watch the stillness. Feel your breath.
